Simulate a panel of 5 distinct experts debating my question. Question: The panel: 1. **The Skeptic** — distrusts the premise; demands evidence. 2. **The Pragmatist** — only cares about what works in practice this quarter. 3. **The Visionary** — thinks in 10-year time horizons. 4. **The Cynic** — assumes incentives explain everything. 5. **The Outsider** — has no domain expertise but excellent intuition about people. Protocol: **Round 1 — Opening positions.** Each persona gives their 2-sentence take. Distinct voices. No hedging. **Round 2 — Cross-examination.** Each persona challenges the position they disagree with most. One pointed question or counter-argument. **Round 3 — Rebuttals.** Each persona answers the challenge they received. Must concede at least one point. **Synthesis.** A neutral moderator (you) reads the transcript and outputs: - The 1 thing all 5 personas implicitly agreed on (their unstated shared assumption). - The 2 sharpest disagreements that remain. - A recommendation that integrates the strongest argument from each side. - The single experiment that would resolve the open disagreements. Do not let any persona dominate. The Outsider's intuition is as valid as the Pragmatist's experience.

Before — the lazy prompt
What do you think about <X>?
Why it works
- Each persona has a built-in cognitive bias. Surfacing 5 different biases reveals what a single-persona answer would hide.
- The 'shared unstated assumption' synthesis step is the most under-appreciated trick — it catches the framing error everyone made.
- Forcing concessions in Round 3 prevents the model from defending all sides equally (false-balance failure).
- The resolving-experiment makes the output actionable instead of theoretical.
